WISN ADDS HISPNIC SHOW TO THE LINEUP

Clear Channel N/T WISN Milwaukee has unveiled a new show, “Valor Latino,” focused on the market’s Hispanic community, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The show’s debut is, at least in part, a result of WISN host Mark Belling’s use of a racial slur aimed at illegal immigrants last fall. Local Hispanic leaders called for Belling’s ouster and, at one point, CC radio chief John Hogan flew to Milwaukee to meet with them. Belling is still with the station.
