PUBLIX ADDS HISPANIC FLAVOR TO IN-HOUSE BRANDS
By Alexandra Navarro Clifton , Sun-Sentinel

Reaching out to the growing Hispanic market, Publix Supermarkets will add bottles of mojo marinade, cans of black beans and packages of frozen yucca and plantains to its private-label stable of products.

Consumers will start seeing the new products within the next three months, Publix spokeswoman Maria Rodamis said Tuesday. She said the company is starting with a short list of items, but will soon expand its offerings.

"We understand the growing demographics," Rodamis said. "We're not only serving our Hispanic customers, we see it as serving all our customers."
