'FASHION ROCKS' TIES MUSIC TO STYLE
By John Crook, Indianapolis Star
September 25, 2004

In matters of contemporary style, now more than ever, it's all about the music.

As the Conde Nast Media Group launches "Fashion Rocks," a multi-tiered marketing program celebrating the link between music and cutting-edge fashion, Fox gets into the act Sunday with a glitzy two-hour special buoyed by such fashion-forward musical performers as Outkast's Andre 3000 -- recently named by Esquire magazine as the best-dressed man in the world -- as well as Mary J. Blige, Beyonce, Usher, Rod Stewart, "anti-fashionista" Avril Lavigne and many others.

The concert, taped in New York's Radio City Music Hall and hosted by Denis Leary, will be complemented by a collector's magazine supplement created under former Rolling Stone editor Bob Love and a monthlong fashion exhibition at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.
