MAGIC MARKETING INITIATIVE TARGETS HISPANIC FAN BASE

ORLANDO -- The Orlando Magic are bolstering their Latino marketing initiative.

To accompany their targeted marketing effort, the Magic have launched a Latin Affairs Committee, whose sole focus is to educate everyone in the organization about the importance of the Latino and Hispanic market to the team.

The reason: The National Basketball Association has one of the fastest-growing fan bases in U.S. professional sports, and many of these fans are of Latino or Hispanic descent.
